Meter PCF Control

The meter control is used to represent a scalar measurement within a known range, or a fractional value; for example disk usage, fuel level, the relevance of a query result, or KPI measurements. Meter control is based on Meter HTML tag and you can find details of  this tag in References section.

Creating Fuel Gauge using Meter PCF Control

Below are the steps to use the control in Dynamics 365.

1. Import the solution MeterControl.zip to CRM

2. Create a custom field called “Fuel level” of floating point type in Entity.

3. Add Fuel level field to Form.

4. Click on “Change Properties” for Fuel level and go to Controls tab and click on “Add Control”.

5. Select Web, Phone and Tablet radio buttons.

6. Set the Meter Control properties

7. Navigate to form in CRM.

Using Meter Control with Account’s Open Revenue

Below are the steps to use the control in Dynamics 365.

1. Import the solution MeterControl.zip to CRM

2. Open the Account Form Designer and select “Open Revenue” field

3. Click on “Change Properties” for Open Revenue  field and go to Controls tab and click on “Add Control”.

5. Select Web, Phone and Tablet radio buttons.

6. Set the Meter Control properties

7. Navigate to form in CRM.
